Challenge
Once again, covid sent devastating waves across the events industry and businesses across the globe. With many companies reverting back to “work from home”, many leadership teams struggled to come up with fresh ideas to keep connected.
Gymshark reached out to Square Fish Events to create and deliver a global virtual event in place of their usual live Christmas celebration.
The event needed to be engaging, immersive and fun for all ages including family members. Gymshark wanted the event to be fully managed online with a dedicated website to accommodate registrations, relay key event information, and support a live stream, globally.
02Delivery
We worked closely with Gymshark to really understand their brand and culture, helping us tailor the perfect live sessions.
The events team got to work and created three experiences for team members to enjoy – this consisted of Cracker Making, Candle Making and a Chocolate Masterclass. We designed a bespoke branded website for registrations and carefully produced and delivered over 400 event packs to team members, globally.
Once everyone received their packs, team members logged in for a live masterclass with our experts for a fun immersive event for teams and families to enjoy.
Each masterclass lasted about 1hour and was fully interactive from the very beginning. Team members could ask questions, join in games and all from the comfort of their own home.
Feedback
The feedback was amazing with all the team members really enjoying the session, and particularly enjoyed being able to include their family and friends. With any event, some team members were unable to attend – we recorded all the sessions so anyone could log in and enjoy the masterclass at their leisure.
Gymshark were very happy with the attendance and the overall feedback from team members. With Christmas being a very busy time, we took away all the stress and logistical planning, providing a seamless virtual experience!
